Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona a una composición de liberación prolongada estable de cefpodoxima proxetil y un proceso para su preparación. La composición comprende cefpodoxima proxetil, un estabilizador, y un agente que controla la liberación, en donde la composición se caracteriza por tener un pH de menos de aproximadamente 4. La composición es adecuada para la dosificación una vez al día para tratar infecciones bacterianas.
