Abstract
Se describen sistemas para mejorar la cinética de lixiviación de metal y la recuperación de metal durante la lixiviación atmosférica o sustancialmente atmosférica de un sulfuro metálico. En algunas modalidades, un circuito de lixiviación oxidativa 200 puede emplear medios de procesamiento mecano-químico/físico-químic o para mejorar la cinética de lixiviación y/o la recuperación de metal. En las modalidades preferidas, los medios mecano-químicos/físico-químicos comprenden diversas combinaciones de reactores de tanque agitado 202 y reactores de tanque de cizallamiento 212. Como se describirá aquí, los reactores de tanque agitado 202 y los reactores de tanque de cizallamiento 212 pueden estar dispuestos en serie y/o en paralelo entre sí, sin limitación alguna. En algunas modalidades no limitantes, un reactor de tanque de cizallamiento 212 también se puede disponer, in situ, dentro de un reactor de tanque agitado 202.
