Abstract

Se describen sistemas para mejorar la cinetica de lixiviacion de metal y la recuperacion de metal durante la lixiviacion atmosferica o sustancialmente atmosferica de un sulfuro metalico. En algunas modalidades, un circuito de lixiviacion oxidativa 200 puede emplear medios de procesamiento mecano-quimico/fisico-quimico para mejorar la cinetica de lixiviacion y/o la recuperacion de metal. En las modalidades preferidas, los medios mecano-quimicos/fisico- quimicos comprenden di versas combinaciones de reactores de tanque agitado 202 y reactores de tanque de cizallamiento 212. Como se describira aqui, los reactores de tanque agitado 202 y los reactores de tanque de cizallamiento 212 pueden estar dispuestos en serie y/o en paralelo entre si, sin limitacion alguna. En algunas modalidades no limitantes, un reactor de tanque de cizallamiento 212 tambien se puede disponer, in situ, dentro de un reactor de tanque agitado 202
