Abstract
Un revestimiento resistente al desgaste se aplica a las superficies de empuje y superficies de perforación de una biela de conexión. El revestimiento resistente al desgaste incluye una matriz de polímero, tal como poliamida imida (PM), lubricante sólido y partículas duras que incluyen Fe203. El revestimiento resistente al desgaste se aplica típicamente por rociado o laminado. El revestimiento resistente al desgaste se adhiere bien al metal y proporciona lubricación. De esta manera, el revestimiento resistente al desgaste puede reducir confiablemente el desgaste, raspaduras y atasco a lo largo de las superficies de la biela de conexión conforme el pistón recíproca o alterna y el cigüeñal gira durante la operación del motor de combustión interna.
