Abstract

Se proporciona un ensamble de cojinete de aire que soporta un eje de motor giratorio impulsado por turbina; el ensamble incluye un cojinete de aire cilíndrico compuesto que tiene secciones de carbono poroso segmentadas y secciones de carbono no poroso, alternas; el cojinete compuesto tiene un manguito instalado circunferencialmente alrededor del mismo; el manguito tiene aberturas ahí, a través y alrededor de éste de manera que las aberturas son adyacentes a las secciones de carbono poroso y están orientadas para estar en nivel longitudinal y circunferencial con las secciones de carbono poroso; pasajes de aire entregan aire suministrado dentro y a través de las aberturas de manguito; por ello dentro y a través de las secciones porosas, proporcionando con ello soporte sin fricción para el eje giratorio; el ensamble incluye anillos tóricos circunferencialmente instalados alrededor de éste, uno en cada extremo del ensamble; se describe y reclama una modalidad específica, principalmente un atomizador de copa de campana giratorio impulsado por una turbina montada sobre un eje de motor giratorio soportado por el ensamble de cojinete de aire.
