Abstract
Un sistema para medir la rotación de un rodillo de alimentación incluye un oscilador sintonizado por voltaje (VTO) que tiene un condensador y un inductor acoplados entre sí. El VTO se configura para disponerse adyacente a un elemento conformado que se forma en una superficie de un rodillo de alimentación de un alimentador de alambre. El sistema para medir la rotación de un rodillo de alimentación también incluye un controlador de fase de bucle bloqueado (PLL) acoplado eléctricamente al VTO y se configura para determinar y enviar un voltaje de corrección al VTO para mantener el VTO a una frecuencia de oscilación deseada. El sistema para medir la rotación de un rodillo de alimentación incluye además un procesador que se acopla al controlador PLL y que se configura para recibir una señal proveniente del controlador PLL indicativa del voltaje de corrección, y para calcular una velocidad de rotación del rodillo de alimentación en función al menos en parte, de la señal recibida.
