Abstract

Se presenta un aparato de iluminación que tiene un material de fósforo radiacionalmente acoplado a una fuente de luz; el material de fósforo incluye una composición de fósforo emisora de verde de la fórmula general I: R3-X-ZMXCeZT5-yNyO12-X-yFX+-yFX+y; en donde 0=x<3.0; 0=y<5.0, 0<z=0.30; y si x=0, entonces y>0 o si y=0, entonces x>0; R es Y, Tb, Gd, La, Lu o una combinación de los mismos; T es Al, Sc, Ga, In o combinaciones de los mismos; M es Ca, Sr, Ba o una combinación de los mismos; N es Mg, Zn o una combinación de los mismos; la composición de fósforo de la fórmula I se puede combinar con un fósforo adicional para generar luz blanca.
