Abstract

Esta descripción de la invención se refiere a almidón de maíz novedoso. El almidón se puede producir del maíz mutante doble waxy-sugary-2 recientemente desarrollado que tiene baja actividad de la Almidón Sintasa I Ligada a Gránulo (GBSSI), que da por resultado bajo nivel de amilosa.
