Abstract

Un excitador de campo sin cepillos para máquinas síncronas de bobinados que utiliza la resonancia de la inductancia de fuga y un capacitor en un excitador de campo resonante para transferir energía al bobinado de campo de rotación. Mediante resonancias a frecuencias mayores de 50 kHz, este excitador reduce el tamaño total y peso de los motores de campo bobinado síncronos en todos los niveles de potencia y extiende los límites de potencia prácticos y económicos de las máquinas de campo bobinado síncronos debajo de aplicaciones HP integrales y fracciones bajas, al eliminar los imanes permanentes ahora utilizados en motores y generadores de alta eficiencia en este intervalo de potencia.
