Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un proceso para la preparación de un producto de azúcar a partir de material lignocelulósico, que comprende las etapas: a) opcionalmente, tratamiento previo del material lignocelulósico; b) opcionalmente, lavado del material lignocelulósico opcionalmente tratado previamente; c) hidrólisis enzimática del material lignocelulósico opcionalmente lavado y/o opcionalmente tratado previamente en un reactor de hidrólisis que utiliza una composición de enzima que comprende por lo menos dos celulasa; y d) opcionalmente, recuperación de un producto de azúcar; en el que durante hidrólisis enzimática se agrega gas que contiene oxígeno al material lignocelulósico en el reactor de hidrólisis y en el que parte del gas que contiene oxígeno, agregado al material lignocelulósico, es un gas que se origina desde el espacio superior del reactor, preferiblemente durante parte del tiempo de la hidrólisis enzimática se agrega menos oxígeno al material lignocelulósico en comparación con la otra parte del tiempo de la hidrólisis enzimática, o preferiblemente durante parte del tiempo de la hidrólisis enzimática no se agrega oxígeno al material lignocelulósico.
