Abstract

Se describe un proceso para reciclar y/o formular materiales de plásticos expansibles utilizando un sistema (1) que comprende: una unidad de extrusora (10), una unidad de intercambiador de calor-mezclador (20), comprendiendo dicho proceso las etapas de: fusionar en la unidad de extrusora (10), enfriar en la unidad de intercambiador de calor-mezclador (20) y controlar la presión de fusión por medio de una unidad de bomba de fusión (50), seguido de la granulación, la extrusión o el moldeo por inyección, en donde un primer agente de expansión (81) no se desgasifica durante un procesamiento de fusión en el sistema (1) de tal manera que queda contenido sustancialmente en el material de plástico expansible granulado (130) o se utiliza para formar cualquiera del material de plástico extruido, formado y expandido (140) o del artículo de plástico expandido y moldeado (150). La presente invención se refiere también a un material granulado de plástico expansible (130), un material de plástico extruido, formado y expandido (140), y un artículo de plástico expandido y moldeado (150) que puede obtenerse mediante dicho proceso.
