Abstract

En diversas modalidades, la presente invención provee un método para tratar una formación subterránea. El método puede incluir la obtención o la provisión de una composición que incluye un polímero viscosificante reticulable. El polímero viscosificante reticulable puede incluir una unidad de repetición de etileno que comprende un grupo -C(O) NH2 y una unidad de repetición de etileno que incluye un grupo -S(O) 2OR1, en los que las unidades de repetición se encuentran en una configuración en bloque, alternada o aleatoria. En cada aparición, R1 puede ser independientemente seleccionado del grupo que consiste en -H y un contraión. La composición también puede incluir al menos un reticulante.
