Abstract

Un proceso asociado para la producción de gas de síntesis de amoníaco a partir de una materia prima que contiene hidrocarburos (20), donde el proceso comprende las etapas de: reformación primaria con vapor (21), reformación secundaria con una corriente oxidante (23), y purificación del efluente de la reformación secundaria, donde la purificación comprende una etapa de conversión por desplazamiento (13) del monóxido de carbono, y donde el gas de síntesis (25) que se produce en la reformación secundaria se somete a un desplazamiento a temperatura media sobre un catalizador a base de cobre, y la relación total vapor a carbono del proceso no es superior a 2.
