Abstract

La invención se refiere principalmente a la utilización de ingredientes activos herbicidas que contienen fósforo (herbicidas) como desecante para (partes de) plantas del género Saccharum, y a los correspondientes métodos de desecación, esto es tratamientos desecantes. En otro aspecto la presente invención se refiere al método para incrementar la cantidad de sacarosa obtenida de (partes aéreas) plantas del género Saccharum officinarum y a un método para producir sacarosa a partir de plantas (partes aéreas) del género Saccharum officinarum.
