Abstract

Se describe una composición de recubrimiento intumescente que comprende un poliisocianato, un compuesto reactivo con isocianato polifuncional y un ingrediente intumescente, en donde el ingrediente intumescente contiene al menos uno o más compuestos que contienen átomos de fósforo, nitrógeno y boro, y la proporción en peso de fósforo a nitrógeno en el ingrediente intumescente es entre 0.5/1 hasta 1.5/1 y la cantidad de boro es de 1 hasta 5% en peso con base en la composición de recubrimiento.
