Abstract

Se describe un método para la generación y aplicación de parámetros elásticos anisotrópicos asociados con un medio horizontal, transversal, isotrópico (HTI). Se generan parámetros elásticos anisotrópicos azimutales de manera que, para tipos de onda sísmica y anisotropía seleccionados, se obtiene una aproximación al modelado anisotrópico de amplitudes sísmicas a través del modelado isotrópico equivalente con los parámetros elásticos anisotrópicos. En el modelado sísmico, la estimulación de onda pequeña, interpretación sísmica, inversión y la interpretación y análisis de anisotropía de resultados de inversión se manejan con métodos isotrópicos. Los parámetros elásticos terrestres utilizados en estos métodos se reemplazan por los parámetros elásticos anisotrópicos.
