Abstract
Sistemas informáticos, medios legibles por computadora y métodos para calcular el tiempo de recorrido en un modelo. El método incluye recibir un modelo de un dominio subterráneo que incluye un medio anisotrópico, dicho modelo incluye una cuadrícula que tiene puntos de cuadrícula que representan ubicaciones en el dominio y una ubicación fuente. El método también incluye definir una ecuación de la eikonal para calcular un tiempo de recorrido desde la ubicación fuente, a través del medio anisotrópico, hasta al menos uno de los puntos de cuadrícula, y separar la ecuación de la eikonal en una primera ecuación y una segunda ecuación. El método incluye además resolver iterativamente la primera ecuación usando un procesador, de modo que se determine una primera solución de tiempo de recorrido, y evaluar numéricamente la segunda ecuación en función de la primera solución de tiempo de recorrido.
