Abstract
Un recinto eléctrico se configura para protección pasiva de arco eléctrico por auto-extinción y funcionamiento más frío del equipo encerrado. El recinto tiene un sistema de ventilación de canales con canales de arco eléctrico en comunicación de fluidos con canales de escape. Los canales de arco eléctrico alrededor de cada fase de los conductores encerrados son de longitud suficiente para ayudar a atenuar un arco eléctrico. Los canales de escape se colocan en comunicación con los canales de arco eléctrico. La geometría y materiales de los canales de arco eléctrico y canales de escape producen un equilibrio de energía del recinto para favorecer la interrupción pasiva de arco eléctrico.
