Abstract
Se proporciona un pigmento inorgánico rojo, dicho pigmento incluye óxido de titanio, óxido de estaño, óxido de zinc, y óxido de tungsteno, en dónde las relaciones molares de los óxidos corresponden a una composición de la fórmula (TiO2)a(SnOx)b(ZnO)c( WO3)d (I), en dónde SnOx incluye SnO y SnO2 en una relación molar de SnO: SnO2 de 70:30 a 100:0; 0,8 = a = 3,0; 0,3 = b = 2,0; 0,3 = c = 1,3; y 0,01 = d = 0,8. De forma opcional, SiO2, otros óxidos metálicos o sulfuros metálicos pueden estar presentes. El pigmento inorgánico se puede utilizar como colorante en diversas aplicaciones.
