Abstract

Aparato y procedimiento para eliminar y/o convertir contaminantes en mezclas de solvente orgánico miscible con agua mediante efectos de interacción de superficie hasta formas menos objetables con menos impactos metabólicos para los humanos. El procedimiento cambia tanto los compuestos contaminantes atrapados en la destilación in situ así como efectúa la remoción de los compuestos y sus productos de reacción. En lo que sigue, las mezclas de solvente orgánico miscible con agua y agua se pueden sustituir por alcoholes. El alcohol a ser tratado se coloca en un recipiente ventilado dejando lugar para el espacio superior. Se inyecta aire libre de contaminantes o un gas libre de contaminante orgánico específico al interior o de alguna otra manera se coloca en contacto con el alcohol. Se jala Un vacío dentro del recipiente, el cual extrae el gas a través del alcohol hacia el espacio superior creando burbujas de gas. Se imparte energía dentro de un intervalo especificado de frecuencias al fluido lo que ocasiona cavitación y reacción. Las características de humectación, polaridad de solvente y presión se fijan o varían dinámicamente durante el procesamiento, y se agregan gases inertes o gases reactivos. Los contaminantes que reaccionaron y los que no reaccionaron entran a las cavidades de la burbuja y son eliminados de la solución.
