Abstract

La presente invención, principalmente aplicable a compresores centrífugos de gran tamaño / muy pesados equipados con encofrado de barril, provee la instalación de almohadillas de deslizamiento en varias ubicaciones convenientes, convencionalmente en las áreas adyacentes a la junta externa en la periferia exterior del haz de diafragma; las almohadillas de deslizamiento, hechas de material auto-lubricante, hierro forjado u otros materiales rellenos de grafito, soportarán todo el peso del haz de diafragma evitando cualquier contacto directo entre la superficie interna del encofrado de barril (6) y la superficie externa del haz de diafragma (7), ambos durante operaciones de ensamblado y también después de que el haz de diafragma haya alcanzado su ubicación final dentro del encofrado de barril; de esta manera, es posible evitar posibles daños tanto al haz de diafragma (2) y a superficies de alojamiento del encofrado durante la fase de inserción/extracción del haz de diafragma en/del encofrado de barril.
