Abstract
Se proporciona un sistema para reemplazar una lámpara fluorescente con un diodo emisor de luz (LED) en un accesorio de iluminación fluorescente convencional sin modificaciones; el ensamble de iluminación incluye una unidad LED que tiene un primer extremo y un segundo extremo; el ensamble de iluminación también incluye un dispositivo de bloqueo de seguridad colocado en por lo menos uno del primer extremo y segundo extremo de la unidad LED y acoplado a un accesorio de iluminación; el dispositivo de bloqueo de seguridad comprende un interruptor de seguridad que define un estado desarmado y un estado armado; para evitar el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, el interruptor de seguridad se cambia del estado desarmado al estado armado con la activación manual del interruptor de seguridad después de que se mueve la unidad LED hacia la posición bloqueada; el estado armado hace posible una comunicación eléctrica entre los dos extremos de la unidad LED para activar la unidad LED.
