Description
Claims (13)
- 第1の端部及び第2の端部を有する発光ダイオード(LED)ユニットと、
LEDユニットの第1及び第2の端部の少なくとも一方に配置された安全ロック装置と
を備えており、
安全ロック装置は、第1の部分と、第2の部分と、安全スイッチとを含んでおり、第1の部分が、照明器具に結合するように構成されており、
第2の部分は、LEDをロック位置に動かしたときにに、第1の部分は動かぬままであり、第2の部分が作動のための安全スイッチへのアクセスを提供すべく動くように、LEDユニットにつながるように構成されており、
安全スイッチは、手動にて作動させられるまでは非作動位置においてオフのままである、光源。 - 第1の部分は、内部に空洞を有する第1のハウジングと、第1のハウジングから延びており、照明器具と係合する突出部材とを備え、第2の部分は、第1のハウジングの空洞内に回転可能に配置される第2のハウジングを備えている、請求項1記載の光源。
- 第1のハウジングは、第1の開口を備え、第2のハウジングは、第2の開口を備え、安全スイッチは、LEDユニットの設置時の安全スイッチの意図せぬ作動を防止するために第2のハウジングの第2の開口に取り付けられている、請求項2記載の光源。
- LEDユニットをロック位置に動かすことで、第1のハウジングの第1の開口と第2のハウジングの第2の開口とが整列し、作動のための安全スイッチへのアクセスが提供される、請求項3記載の光源。
- 第1の開口を通って安全スイッチを押し込むことで、安全スイッチのステムが第1の開口から外に延びる位置へと上方に押されるとともに、LEDユニットを有効化するように1以上のスイッチ接点が操作される、請求項4記載の光源。
- LEDユニットの有効化は、LEDユニットの第1の端部と第2の端部との間の電気的接続を確立させる、請求項5記載の光源。
- 第1の開口から外に延びたステムが、照明器具からのLEDユニットの取り外しを防止する、請求項5記載の光源。
- 突出部材は、照明器具に設けられたランプホルダ(114)との係合のためのロック部材を備える、請求項2記載の光源。
- LEDユニットは、照明器具の構成部品の改造を必要とすることなく照明器具に結合するように構成されている、請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の光源。
- LEDユニットは、照明器具のハウジング及び照明器具の電気回路の少なくとも一方の改造を必要とすることなく照明器具に結合するように構成されている、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の光源。
- LEDユニットは、様々な種類の安定器を有する種々の従来の蛍光灯照明器具に設置されて使用可能であるように構成されている、請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載の光源。
- 安定器の種類が、スイッチスタート式電子安定器、ラピッドスタート式電子安定器及びプログラム始動式電子安定器の1種以上から選択される、請求項11記載の光源。
- 交換用ランプを従来の蛍光灯照明器具に挿入する方法であって、
発光ダイオード(LED)ユニットを照明器具の第1の端部及び第2の端部に挿入すること、
第1のハウジングと、照明器具と係合させるため第1のハウジングから延びる突出部材と、LEDユニットに接続される第2のハウジングとを有する安全ロック装置を設けること、
LEDユニットをロック位置に動かしたときに、LEDユニット及び第2のハウジングと照明器具との間の相対的運動は可能であるが、突出部材と照明器具との間の相対的運動は防がれ、
LEDユニットをロック位置に動かしたときに、第2のハウジングの動きにより、第2のハウジング内に取り付けられた安全スイッチにアクセスして安全スイッチを作動させることができ、安全スイッチは、感電の危険を防止するために非作動位置においてはオフのままであること、及び
第1のハウジングに設けられたボアを介して安全スイッチにアクセスし、安全スイッチに物理的に触れることによってLEDユニットを有効化すること
を含む、方法。
