Abstract
Se provee una lámpara reacondicionada de LED que hace interfaz con un balastro de descarga de alta intensidad (HID) que incluye una fuente de iluminación que tiene una pluralidad de diodos emisores de luz (LED), uno o más componentes de disipador térmico que disipan calor generado por los LED, y un controlador de LED configurado para operar los LED; la lámpara reacondicionada de LED está dispuesta dentro de un alojamiento de HID y el balastro de HID está eléctricamente conectado con el controlador de LED, y suministra energía al controlador de LED para operar los LED.
