Abstract
The invention concerns a method for converting a heavy hydrocarbon feedstock having an initial boiling temperature of at least 300 °C comprising the following steps: a) a step of hydroconversion of at least a portion of said feedstock in the presence of hydrogen in conditions making it possible to obtain a liquid feedstock having a reduced Conradson carbon, metal, sulphur and nitrogen content, b) a step of separating the effluent from step a) in order to obtain a light liquid fraction boiling at a temperature lower than 300 °C and a heavy liquid fraction boiling at a temperature higher than 300 °C, c) a step of selective deasphalting of at least one portion of the heavy liquid fraction, d) a step of recycling at least a portion of the deasphalted oil DAO cut from step c) upstream from hydroconversion step a) and/or at the start of separation step b).
