Abstract

La solicitud se refiere a un procedimiento para el suministro de energía a una pila de chatarra (9) en un horno de arco eléctrico (2), en el que en una primera fase se suministra energía mediante chorros de gas caliente, y tras finalizar la primera fase, en una segunda fase se suministra energía por arco eléctrico. El gas caliente se suministra en al menos seis chorros y cada uno de los chorros suministrados lleva como máximo una sexta parte de la cantidad total de gas caliente suministrado. Además, se refiere a un dispositivo (1) para la realización del procedimiento con un horno de arco eléctrico (2) con fondo (3), paredes laterales (4) y pared de tapa (5), así como con uno o varios dispositivos de soplado (6a, 6b, 6c) para suministrar chorros de aire caliente de educto al espacio interior (7) del horno de arco eléctrico (8) que en total presentan al menos seis toberas (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e, 10f) con orificios de tobera, y con dispositivos de suministro de combustible (8) para suministrar combustible a los chorros de aire caliente de educto.
