Abstract
The invention relates to a roll (2) of centrally fed wipes (3) comprising a reinforced portion (4) for facilitating threading of a dispensing opening (5) in a dispenser (1).
Description
AUXILIARY OF TOWELS
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a roll of centrally-fed wipes comprising a reinforced portion for facilitating the threading of an assortment opening in a spout.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
It is known from EP0599058 to use a rigid arrow-type element that is connected by multiple hooks by means of a material of the wipe to aid in the threading by means of a dispensing opening. However, this solution has the disadvantage that the hooks extend on one side of the material of the fabric and there is a risk of damaging the dispensing opening thereby.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
There is a need to solve the above shortcomings and find an improved roll of centrally fed wipes comprising a reinforced portion to facilitate the threading of an assortment opening in a spout.
According to the invention, the reinforced portion comprises a branched tag comprising at least two legs and a connecting end in which the legs are connected and whose connecting end is configured to be
the front portion of the reinforced portion. The point of each leg comprises resilient fastening means configured to fold at least partially when the stitch opens through the cloth of the wipe and is configured to return at least partially to its original state in order to prevent a return of the stitches. holding means by the cloth of the wipe.
An advantage of the invention is that the fastening means are placed on the opposite side of the material of the towel relative to the connecting end, which, when a user pulls the connecting end through the dispensing opening, the fastening means is they embed at least partially in the material of the fabric and, therefore, are protected against damage to the dispensing opening. This is particularly advantageous if the dispensing opening is made from an easily damaged and elastic material designed to have a tight fit around the wipe material.
According to a first example of the invention, the stitches are configured to open a passage through a common hole in the cloth of the wipe. In this example, it is also possible to reverse the process by pressing the connection edge through the material, which causes all the legs to be in a hole.
According to a second example of the
invention, the stitches are configured to open passage through different holes in the fabric of the wipe.
It must be taken into account that the holes can be prefabricated or they can be the result of the penetrating points of the material of the fabric.
In both the first and the second example, the use of various fastening means suffers the loading of the material of the fabric when a user, after having pressed the label through the opening, drags all the material of the towel through the opening dispenser when holding the label and applying force to the material of the wipe using the legs and the fastening means.
The dispensing opening is made of an elastic material designed to apply friction to the wipe material when the roll of wipes, which are divided by laterally extending the tear lines, which is being dispensed should be torn on one or more sheets of wipes. When the user wishes to supply the wipes, the wipe material is pulled almost upwards from the dispensing opening and when the user wishes to separate one or more sheets from the continuous wiping roll, the wipe material is pulled at an angle to the wipe. the dispensing opening thus increasing the friction between the dispensing opening and the wipe material in such a way that the tearing lines break due to a greater
stretch force of the wipe material in the assortment direction.
According to an example of the invention, each tag consists of exactly two legs. The advantage of this example is that it has been shown that two legs is an adequate amount to handle when passing the labels through the material of the wipe.
According to an example of the invention, the fastening means comprise two pin-shaped portions. It has been shown that the two pin-shaped portions provide a good distribution of the load, so that the fabric does not break or burst, and has proved easy to pass through the material of the fabric to create a hole without destroying too much material in the material of the fabric.
According to an example of the invention, the label is made of plastic. However, any material is allowed, as long as the label material allows the penetration of a cloth of the wipe such that the pin-shaped portions are bent, ie, folded, during penetration and relax. then practically to its initial state after penetration for load bearing purposes as described above. As a result, alternative materials to plastic are rubber, silicone,
Reinforced structures and a composition of the structures comprising rigid materials for the legs and pins and the elastic material for the joints.
An example of a plastic label according to the invention suitable for wet wipes has these dimensions:
Legs: 10 mm - 60 mm, preferably 40 mm
Pin-shaped portions: 4 mm - 12 mm, preferably 8 mm.
It should be noted that, depending on the fabric material of the wet wipe, more than two legs may be used in order to increase the load-bearing properties of the label. When more than two legs are used, it is possible to have all the legs in a hole; or one leg per hole; or a leg in a hole and more than one leg in a hole or holes.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
The invention will now be described with reference to several figures, in which:
Figure 1 schematically shows a dispenser comprising a roll according to the invention;
Figure 2 schematically shows an improved portion of the dispenser including the dispenser opening;
Figure 3 schematically shows an example of a label according to the invention;
Figure 4 schematically shows a first example of a label according to the invention that reinforces a part of the material of the wipe, and in which;
Figure 5 shows schematically a second example of a label according to the invention that reinforces a part of the material of the wipe.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Figure 1 schematically shows a spout 1 comprising a roll 2 according to the invention. The roll 2 of the centrally-fed wipes 3 comprises a reinforced portion 4 for facilitating the threading of a dispensing opening 5 in a spout 1. The reinforced portion 4 comprises a branched tag 6 comprising at least two legs 7 and a connecting end 8 , in which the legs 7 are connected and whose connecting end 8 is configured to be the front portion of the reinforced portion 4, in which the point 9 of each leg 7 comprises elastic holding means 10 configured to at least partially fold when the point 9 makes its way through the fabric of the wipe 3 and is configured to return at least partially to its original state in order to prevent a return of the fastening means 10 through the fabric of the wipe.
Figure 2 shows schematically a portion
Improved spout including the dispenser opening 5. Figure 2 shows that the dispenser opening 5 has an elastic portion 11 that has a tight fit around the material of the towelette 3.
Figure 3 schematically shows an example of a label of 6 according to the invention. Figure 3 shows that each tag 6 comprises two legs 7. Figure 3 shows that the fastening means 10 comprise two pin-shaped portions 12.
Figure 4 shows schematically a first example of a label 6 according to the invention that reinforces a part of the material of the wipe. Figure 4 shows that the points 9 are configured to open passage through different holes in the fabric of the wipe 3.
Figure 5 shows schematically a second example of a label 6 according to the invention that reinforces a part of the material of the wipe. Figure 5 shows that the points 9 make their way through a common hole in the tissue of the wipe 3.
