Abstract
La invención proporciona un método y sistema que combina mediciones y análisis de datos funcionales genómicos y genéticos, proteómicos, de neuroimaginología anatómica, de neuroimaginología funcional, del comportamiento y clínicos para el análisis, diagn6stico o pronóstico de población pediátrica con autismo. Más específicamente, la invención proporciona una prueba de genes ponderados y características para el autismo que usa una matriz característica de genes ponderados para la comparación con una base de datos de referencia de individuos saludables y aquejados. La invención también proporciona características de valor de expresión génica normalizadas para la comparación con una base de datos de referencia. Asimismo, la invención combina o bien el análisis de genes ponderados o de genes normalizados con comparaciones con una matriz característica de redes de genes, una matriz característica multimodal y una matriz característica de rasgos secundarios para la precisión mejorada en el análisis, diagnóstico y pronóstico de la relevancia para el autismo, especialmente para recién nacidos, bebés con edades que van del nacimiento al año, bebés mayores con edades de 1 a 2 años, bebés mayores con edades de 2 a 3 años y niños pequeños con edades de 3 a 4 años.
