Abstract

Un procedimiento "de endurecimiento en frío" permite la formación de mayores piezas fundidas de metales, proporcionando más tiempo de trabajo, en el rango de aproximadamente 45 a aproximadamente 60 minutos. Esto se logra utilizando un catalizador de curado líquido que es una piridina, sustituida en la segunda o tercera posición con una humedad que tiene un peso molecular en el rango de aproximadamente 30 a aproximadamente 100 g/mol. Los ejemplos del catalizador de curado líquido incluyen 2-etanolpiridina, 3-cloropiridina y 2-metoxipiridina.
