Abstract
En una modalidad, un método incluye registrar una primera ubicación de un dispositivo móvil; determinar, mediante uno o más procesadores de un componente posicionador geográfico del dispositivo móvil, en una base periódica, una ubicación actual del dispositivo móvil; determinar, por los procesadores del componente posicionador geográfico, si la ubicación actual está fuera de una región geográfica definida al menos en parte por la primera ubicación; y si la ubicación actual está fuera de la región geográfica, entonces transmitir, mediante los procesadores del componente posicionador geográfico, un mensaje a uno o más procesadores diferentes del dispositivo móvil, provocando el mensaje que uno o más de los demás procesadores pasen de un estado durmiente a un estado activo.
