Abstract

De acuerdo con un aspecto, se proporciona un método de funcionamiento de un nodo de red en una red de comunicación con la red de comunicación que comprende al menos un dispositivo móvil que está operando en un modo DRX, de recepción discontinua con una longitud de ciclo DRX que es más largo que un periodo de modificación en la red. En el método, cuando una actualización a la información del sistema va a ocurrir en un periodo de modificación de la información actualizada, el periodo de modificación inmediatamente anterior al período modificación de información actualizada que comprende un periodo de modificación de notificación de cambio, un mensaje de búsqueda se transmite al dispositivo (103) móvil durante un periodo de modificación que no sea el periodo de modificación de notificación de cambio y el período de modificación de información actualizada, el mensaje de búsqueda o busca-personas, que informa al dispositivo móvil que una actualización a la información del sistema va a ocurrir en el período de modificación de la información actualizada.
