Abstract
La presente invención consiste en el diseño de un calentador solar con funcionamiento distinto del convencional, que usa tubos de vidrios como elemento calefactor y tanque de almacenamiento. Al captar directamente el calor de la radiación solar elimina el uso de combustibles fósiles y sus consecuentes emisiones de gases residuales. Es de diseño compacto, no tiene elementos de vidrio, cuenta con mayor capacidad de conversión de calorías recibidas de la radiación solar a mayor temperatura del agua. Está compuesto por un chassis que funciona a la vez como precalentador del agua; un termocambiador metálico; un tanque inoxidable para agua caliente convenientemente aislado para conservar la temperatura del agua; una cubierta transparente que permite el paso del espectro solar infra-rojo de la radiación solar como elemento calefactor primario; una válvula termoquímica que automatiza el equipo, permitiendo el acceso de agua caliente al tanque, solamente cuando está válvula recibe temperatura de la radiación solar.
