Abstract
The present invention consists in the design of a solar heater with an operation different from conventional devices, which uses glass tubes with a heater element and storing tank. The invention may capture the heat in a direct manner from the solar radiation so as to remove the use of fossil fuels and the consequent emission of residual gas. The invention has a compact design, with no glass elements, having a higher capacity to convert the heat received from the solar radiation into a higher water temperature. The invention includes a chassis that simultaneously acts as water pre-heater; a metallic heat exchanger; a stainless tank for hot water conventionally insulated for preserving the water temperature; a transparent cover for allowing the infra-red solar spectrum of the solar radiation to pass, acting as a primary heating element; a thermochemical valve for automating the equipment, allowing the hot water to flow to the tank, only when this valve receives temperature from the sol ar radiation.
