Abstract

Los apoyos de trenes de laminación incorporan cojinetes de apoyo (20) con pluralidades de huecos de almohadilla hidrostática (30, 40) que son preferiblemente en conjunción apoyos hidrodinámicos también formados dentro del cojinete. Cada hueco (30, 40) tiene un paso de lubricante aislado (136, 146) que está adaptado para acoplamiento a una fuente aislada separada de lubricante presurizado (50). En algunas modalidades en este documento, la fuente de lubricante presurizado aislado se suministra por una salida dedicada de una bomba de presión. De esta manera, cada hueco de almohadilla hidrostática tiene un suministro de lubricante presurizado dedicado que no se interrumpe por eventos de pérdida de presión de lubricante en otras almohadillas de apoyo o en otra parte dentro del sistema de lubricación del tren de laminación.
