Abstract

Se proporcionan copolímeros de impacto de propileno (ICP) que comprenden: (a) una fase de matriz que comprende de 60 a 95% en peso de un polímero de polipropileno que contiene de 0 a 6% en mol de unidades derivadas de una o más de alfa-olefinas diferentes al propileno, y (b) una fase dispersada que comprende de 5 a 40% en peso de un copolímero derivado de un primer comonómero que puede ser ya sea propileno y etileno juntos con un segundo comonómero de alfa-olefina. El ICP se caracteriza adicionalmente al tener una relación beta/alfa menor que o igual a 1.1. Los ICP de la presente invención son particularmente bastante adecuados para aplicaciones que requieren polímeros resistentes claros tal como artículos moldeados por inyección de pared delgada para aplicaciones de envasado de alimentos congelados.
