Abstract
Se proporciona un manómetro de presión para medir la presión de un gas. El manómetro de presión comprende un alojamiento que se puede conectar a la fuente de gas y que comprende un interior el cual, durante su uso, se encuentra en comunicación con el gas. El manómetro de presión además comprende un ensamble de sensor situado dentro del alojamiento e incluye un oscilador piezoeléctrico el cual, en uso, se sitúa en contacto con el gas, el ensamble de sensor se dispone para medir la frecuencia de oscilación del oscilador piezoeléctrico en el gas y se configura para determinar, a partir de la medición de frecuencia y la temperatura conocida y el peso molecular conocido del gas, la presión del gas. Al proporcionar tal disposición, un manómetro de presión a prueba de sobrepresión pero preciso puede proporcionarse. Esto es n contraste a manómetros convencionales que se dañan permanentemente por situaciones de sobrepresión.
