Abstract
Un detector de conductividad detecta la conductividad eléctrica de un fluido bajo análisis para determinar las propiedades químicas o físicas del fluido que están relacionadas con sus propiedades eléctricas. Tales detectores de conductividad pueden encontrar uso en, por ejemplo, sistemas de hemodiálisis para analizar la efectividad del tratamiento de hemodiálisis. En un aspecto, para mejorar la exactitud de las mediciones de conductividad, el detector utiliza métodos de medición de resistencia de cuatro cables. En otro aspecto, para evitar suciedad o contaminación de los electrodos, el detector utiliza de métodos de detección de conductividad sin contacto acoplados de forma capacitiva (C4D) para que los electrodos estén físicamente desconectados al fluido contenido en una cámara de fluido. En un posible aspecto adicional, la cámara de fluido puede ser un componente desechable removible de los electrodos. El detector de conductividad puede incluir otras características tales como circuitos de calibración y características para aislar eléctricamente el fluido bajo detección del fluido en el resto del sistema.
