Se provee una forma farmacéutica de liberación modificada que comprende un núcleo recubierto con un recubrimiento polimérico, dicho recubrimiento polimérico comprende uno o más polímeros de velocidad controlada, dicha forma farmacéutica presenta un hueco que se extiende a través de la forma farmacéutica resultando en una superficie radial interior y en una superficie radial exterior, dicho núcleo comprende al menos un ingrediente terapéuticamente activo, caracterizado porque la superficie radial interior está parcialmente recubierta con dicho recubrimiento polimérico.
