Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con un sensor espectral para la inspección de documentos de valor que comprende un dispositivo de iluminación para la iluminación del documento de valor, una óptica de reproducción y un dispositivo de detección. El dispositivo de iluminación contiene una cantidad múltiple de fuentes de luz teniendo espectros de emisión diferentes entre sí, encendiéndose y apagándose las fuentes de luz una tras otra con la finalidad de iluminar una región del documento de valor con una secuencia de iluminación consistiendo de pulsos de luz que tienen diferentes espectros de emisión. Se detecta un valor de medición para cada uno de los impulsos de luz para registrar la distribución de intensidad espectral de la luz detectada. La cantidad múltiple de fuentes de luz cubren una sección del rango espectral cercano al infrarrojo y/o una sección del rango espectral visible de manera tal que el sensor espectral puede registrar la distribución de intensidad espectral en la sección del rango espectral cercano del infrarrojo y/o en la sección del rango espectral visible.
