Abstract

The invention relates to a clothing item, comprising a neck opening (3). On the front, it comprises a zipper (5) that extends with one end to the neck opening (3). A reinforcement (6) serving as a bite edge is provided at the neck opening (3) in the region of the end (55) of the zipper (5).

Description

ARTICLE OF CLOTHING.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a garment having a neck opening and on its front side has a zipper that comes with its one end to the neck opening.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Garments of the type mentioned at the beginning are very widespread. They can be configured in the form of jackets, sweaters or the like. In this case the zipper provided in the garments offers in a simple way the possibility of opening the garment to simplify dressing or undressing, or to allow ventilation with increasing temperatures. In addition, the zipper offers the advantage over other closure possibilities of garments, such as buttons, that the garment is completely closed and therefore does not penetrate moisture or an air current in the garment.
In particular in garments that are made of a very elastic material it is difficult to open the zipper with only one hand. This is based on the fact that the garment is folded when pulling down the zipper due to its high elasticity. This results in folds in the garment which result in a wavy shape of the zipper. Then you can not open the zipper. For this reason it is necessary to use the second hand as well and to fasten the garment in the area of the neck opening with the second hand, in order to produce a sufficient stability of the garment allowing an opening of the zipper. This is disadvantageous, on the one hand, in the case of a handicap of the garment wearer, on the other hand, in situations where a hand is needed for another activity. Such activities can be, for example, riding a bic or driving a car, in which the second hand must remain on the handlebar or the steering wheel.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The invention therefore has the objective of creating a garment, which allows an opening of the zipper with only one hand. This objective is solved according to the invention because a reinforcement serving as a biting edge is arranged in the neck opening in the area of the end of the lock.
With the invention a garment is created that allows an opening of the zipper with only one hand. The garment wearer only needs to take in the mouth the reinforcement that serves as the edge for biting, and therefore confer sufficient stability to the garment, so that a manipulation of the zipper in the garment is also possible. case of very elastic garments.
In a refinement of the invention, the reinforcement has a substantially U-shaped cross section. This configuration offers the advantage that the reinforcement can be overlapped by sections in the neck opening, so that the reinforcement serving as the edge for biting it is provided both on the inner side of the garment in the area of the neck opening, as well as on the outer side.
The reinforcement is preferably made of plastic or rubber. The use of plastic or rubber allows, on the one hand, a good workability so that the reinforcement is they can adapt to the corresponding garment in a simple way, on the other hand, materials that are innocuous and therefore not dangerous to health can be used.
The reinforcement preferably at least partially covers the zipper. In this way the reinforcement can serve as a cover for the zipper in order to thus avoid a scratch of the zipper in the throat. In this way comfort is further increased when wearing the garment.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Other improvements and configurations of the invention are specified in the remaining dependent claims. An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is described in detail below. They show: Fig. 1 a sectional representation of a garment with zipper and reinforcement; Fig. 2 a side view of the garment in the area of the neck opening; Fig. 3 the representation of a person with the garment when operating the zipper.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The garment selected as an example of embodiment comprises a front side 1 and a rear side not visible in the drawing. The garment has sleeves 2. It has a neck opening 3 which is formed in the exemplary embodiment by a raised neck 4. The garment has on its front side 1 a zip 5.
The zipper 5 is sewn in a manner known per se with the garment, which is illustrated by means of the seams 51. In a known manner it has teeth 52 which engage with each other through a slide 53. In the slide 53 is a handle 54 is provided. The rack 5 comes with one of its ends up to the neck opening 3; in the exemplary embodiment, the visible end of the closure is in the upper area of the raised neck 4.
A reinforcement 6 serving as a biting edge is arranged in the neck opening 3 in the area of the end 55 of the rack 5; in the exemplary embodiment, the reinforcement 6 is provided on the free end of the raised neck 4 forming the neck opening 3. The reinforcement 6 is sewn in the exemplary embodiment with the raised neck 4, which is illustrated by means of seams 61. The reinforcement 6 is preferably made of plastic or rubber. In the selection of the material for the reinforcement 6 it is important, on the one hand, a good workability so that the reinforcement can be adapted in a simple way to the shape of the garment in the area of the neck opening 3. In addition, It is important that the selected material does not present properties that endanger health. In addition, the material should have a relatively high mobility so that mobility is not limited. These properties are met in particular by means of suitable plastics and rubber.
The reinforcement 6 has a substantially U-shaped section, so that it overlaps the neck opening 3 or the raised neck 4. Therefore the side 62 of the reinforcement 6 is arranged on the outer side of the garment and the side 63 is disposed on the inner side of the garment. The central part 64 connecting the sides 62 and 63 is located above the free end of the neck 3 or neck opening elevation 4, as can be seen in particular in figure 2.
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 3, the reinforcement 6 partially covers the rack 5. The reinforcement 6 therefore protrudes horizontally on the rack 5. In the closed state of the rack 5 the reinforcement 6 completely overlaps the end 55.; in the completely closed state of the rack 5, the reinforcement 6 partially projects horizontally on one of the sides of the rack 5, as can be seen in particular in figure 3.
In the operation of the rack, the reinforcement 6 serving as the edge for biting offers a considerable simplification, in particular in cases where the second hand is not available for a rack drive, either due to a handicap or due to the The fact that the second hand is not available for other activities, for example, the grip of a handlebar when riding a bicycle. For the actuation it is only necessary that the corresponding garment wearer bites into the reinforcement 6. In this way the reinforcement 6 is held between the teeth of the garment wearer. Accordingly, it is possible to fix the neck opening 3, so that it is possible to actuate the rack 5 with one hand, as shown in FIG. 3. Accordingly, a one-handed operation of the zipper is also possible when the rack is provided for very elastic garments, as is the case, for example, in cycling jerseys. However, since often the two hands can not be removed from the handlebars, by means of the invention an essential improvement with respect to the handling of the racks is also created under unfavorable conditions.
