Abstract
An integrated head, arm, and hand garment consisting of a right and left arm gusset, head and hand coverings. The arm gussets overlay each arm, right and left. Each arm gusset is respectively secured to the bottom of the head covering.
Each hand covering is secured to the distal end of each arm gusset respectively.
The arm gussets are worn over wearer's arms inside sleeves of jacket securing head and hand coverings. The head covering can be any type of hat and neck warmer combination. The hand covering and top part of the head covering can be slipped off easily from extremities while remaining secured to arm gussets preventing loss of these articles when a wearer needs to temporarily expose his hands and/or head.
Each hand covering is secured to the distal end of each arm gusset respectively.

Description
TECHNICAL FIELD:
The present invention relates generally to winter head coverings, arm coverings, and hand coverings. Specifically, the present invention combines the three aforementioned articles into a single integrated garment.
BACKGRAOUND INFORMATION AND PRIOR ART
Integrating winter accessories is well know in the prior art in order to facilitate getting dressed and to prevent winter accessories such as mittens from becoming lost. Specifically, examples of hat and scarf, scarf and hand coverings and integrated hat, hand coverings and jacket are known. However, there is an absent from the prior art of a combined head and hand covering linked by arm gussets or arm warmers to provide the convenience of one article of wear which can be worn under any jacket while preventing loss of the combined articles.
The integration of arm gussets into a head and hand covering combination is thereby an object of this present invention.
1~ Canadian Patent No. 1182251 issued to Smith and Moratto discloses a garment convertible from scarf to mitts which is formed by a tubular member with a central arms receiving opening to allow the wearer's arms to extend through the tubular member and through a collar at each distal end, which collar when folded over converts into a cuff. Cooperating with the collar is an overlying flap formed into a pocket positioned with a mouth opening facing but on the reverse side from, the arm receiving opening, and designed to reversingly fold over and cover the finger tips of the wearer. A protuberance in the tubular member is defined near each collar for accommodating the thumbs, whereby a mitten is formed. In another embodiment a singular sleeve can have the mitten and thumb accommodating protuberance combination near the collar.

2) Canadian Patent No. 2197279 issued to Michel discloses an article of clothing adapted for wear on the upper torso of a young child, the article of clothing including first and second sleeves and first and second mittens secured respectively to each of the sleeves and a hood secured to the upper torso portion to cover the head of the child, their being a slit formed adjacent a point of attachment of each of the mittens to the sleeves and a further slit adjacent the point of attachment of the hood to the upper torso portion. The slits provide ready access to the hands and head area of the child while maintaining them warm.
a) US Patent No. 4159792 issued to Siegal discloses a tether or leash for gloves such as ski gloves, to maintain the glove attached to the wrist or wrist encircling garment, such as a parka sleeve, of the wearer when the glove is temporarily removed for some purpose; and generally including a length of elastic cord with eyeleted ends, one end passing through the eyelet at the opposite end to present a loop or band portion encircling the wrist area of the wearer and wherein the loop or band portion may be adjusted for approximate sizing by knotting the cord between the ends thereof.
4) Canadian Patent No. 1062852 issued to Owensmith discloses scarf which can be worn draped around the neck in the usual manner is provided in opposed end sections of its length with transverse pockets for the reception of the hands enabling the scarf to be held above the head with the part of the scarf intervening between the pockets stretched taut for the display of readable matter.
s) Canadian Patent No. 869201 issued to Moore discloses a combination scarf, shawl and hood.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an integrated head, arm and hand covering to facilitate getting dressed and to prevent head and hand covering from becoming lost when the user exposes his hands and/or head.
In one embodiment of this invention, the garment includes a head covering. The head covering may be a balaclava, ski mask or a hat secured to a neck warmer. A principal feature of this embodiment is to allow removal of the top portion of the head covering behind the wearer's head while remaining around wearer's neck and to prevent the head covering from becoming lost.
In another embodiment of this invention, the garment includes two arm gussets that are secure to bottom hem of the head covering from middle back to middle front. The arm gussets are tapered down the length of the wearer's arm.
A principal feature on this embodiment is to provide extra warmth to upper back and chest, shoulders and arms and to connect the head covering to the hand coverings. One particular aspect of this embodiment is to allow a wearer to expose his hands while hand covering remains secured to the arm gussets preventing the hand covering from becoming lost.
In another embodiment of this invention, the garment includes a pair of hand coverings such as mitts or gloves. The hand covering open-end hems are securely attached to the distal ends of each arm gusset. Securing the hand coverings to an arm gusset rather than to a string offers a stronger bonding point in order to prevent hand covering from being ripped off.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
Referring now to Fig 1 Shows a head covering, arm gussets and hand covering constructed in accordance to the present invention. Specifically, the arm gussets 2, which can be constructed out of a single layer of warm and strong material such as fleece may be triangular shaped as shown in Fig 1. The arm gussets are sewn to the bottom hem 2a of head covering 1. The top width of each arm gusset 2 coincides to the width of the bottom of head covering 1 as shown in Fig 1. The bottom width of the arm gusset 2b coincides to the width of half the diameter of the hand covering's tubular opening end, which is secured together by snaps, "Velcro" or by conventional means such as stitching.
Referring to Fig 2, there is shown a front view of the present invention. The right and left arm gussets 2 are securely attached to the bottom hem of head covering 1 from center front to center back respectively.
Referring to Fig 3, there is shown a front view of the present invention positioned on a wearer. The arm gussets 2 are positioned over the wearer's shoulders and arms; tapering down the length of arms connecting arm gusset's distal end to the hand covering at wearer's hand. The arm gusset's length coincides to the length of a wearer's extended arm from top of shoulder down to the tip of wearer's fingers. The extra length provides easier removal of hand covering. Each lengthwise side of arm gussets is hemmed to provide an esthetic appearance.
Referring now to Fig 4. There is shown a side view of present invention positioned on a wearer. The Head covering 1 has two distinct portions 1a and 1 b. The top portion 1a can be easily removed from wearer's head while the bottom portion 1 b remains around wearer's neck.
