Abstract

A combined bag carrier and hand warmer comprises a strip of material with a pocket at each end of the strip. The strip of material lies across the shoulders and a wearer's hands are placed in the pockets. The user is then able to grasp handles of a bag, supporting the weight of the bags across the shoulders. The pockets also enable the wearer's hands to be kept warm. When not used for carrying bags, the carrier may be used as a scarf.

Description
Problem: When carrying shopping bags hands can start to hurt The bag handles can start to dig into your hands and your arms can start to ache. This is especially the case in the winter when your exposed hands can get cold.
Solution: The product alleviates the stress on your arms by transferring the load of the shopping bags onto your shoulders.
This happens via a strip of material with pockets attached either end. By putting the strip of material across your back and putting your hands in the pockets, when you clench the carrier bags, whilst your hands are in the pockets, the weight is taken by this strip of material, reducing or alleviating the weight on your hands.
This product has the added advantage of keeping your hands warm when not carrying bags. This is because you can put your hands in the pockets with the material strip over your shoulders.
l'his product can be used to carry a number of objects, examples are: -Carrying shopping back from the supermarket -As part of health and safety initiative for people carrying items at work.
-In lesser economically developed countries to aid transportation of essential supplies by foot.
-Different versions may use different materials; this is to make it either more fashionable or fit for purpose.
