Abstract
Se describen un aparato y un método de codificación aritmética a base de contexto y un aparato y un método de decodificación aritmética a base de contexto. El aparato de decodificación aritmética a base de contexto puede determinar un contexto de una tupla N actual que se va a decodificar, determinar un contexto de Bit Muy Significativo (MSB) correspondiente a un símbolo MSB de la tupla N actual, y determinar un modelo de probabilidad utilizando el contexto de la tupla N y el contexto MSB. Subsecuentemente, el aparato de decodificación aritmética a base de contexto puede realizar una decodificación en un MSB con base en el modelo de probabilidad determinado, y realizar una decodificación en un Bit Menos Significativo (LSB) con base en una profundidad de bit del LSB derivado de un procedimiento para decodificación en un código de escape.
