Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la preparación de un fertilizante que contiene azufre elemental. El proceso utiliza un molino de dispersión, en donde un rotor da vueltas dentro de un estator ranurado, para humectar el azufre elemental molido en un líquido (preferentemente un líquido acuoso), por lo cual se proporciona una dispersión del azufre elemental molido en el líquido. La dispersión es combinada con componentes adicionales para proporcionar una mezcla de azufre elemental y componentes adicionales, y la mezcla es granulada en una unidad granuladora para proporcionar un fertilizante que contiene azufre elemental granulado.
