Abstract
Un sistema y método para visualizar imágenes en un contexto tridimensional. El método involucra recibir datos de entrada del usuario especificando una poli-línea en un sistema cartográfico de referencia dado. La poli-línea es desplegada en una ventana de 2D. Un conjunto de datos geométricos es generado basado en la poli-línea y en un rango vertical especificado por el usuario. El conjunto de datos geométrico representa un objeto plegado en un espacio tridimensional, donde el objeto plegado tiene un pliegue por cada punto de inflexión en la poli-línea.
