Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a procesos continuos para producir un éter de haloalquenona de la Fórmula (I) en donde R1 es haloalquilo C1-C6, R2 es un alquilo C1-C6 o fenilo, el proceso comprende: (i) hacer reaccionar, en un primer reactor de tanque agitado continuo que comprende un solvente, un haluro de Fórmula (II) en donde R1 es como se define previamente y R3 es halógeno, con un vinil éter de Fórmula (III) en donde R2 es como se define previamente, para formar un compuesto intermediario de Fórmula (IV), en donde la concentración del vinil éter de Fórmula (III) en la masa de reacción es 15% o menos en p/p; y (ii) transferir la masa de reacción del primer reactor de tanque agitado continuo en un reactor de tanque agitado continuo subsecuente, en donde las condiciones dentro del reactor subsecuente permiten la eliminación de haluro de hidrógeno (HR3) del compuesto intermediario de Fórmula (IV) para proporcionar el éter de haloalquenona de Fórmula (I).
