Abstract

Se describe un método para preparar directamente in situ el 1-metilciclopropeno que inhibe la acción del etileno de acelerar el proceso de maduración de las plantas, que comprende hacer reaccionar un predeterminado precursor del 1-metilciclopropeno representado por las fórmulas 2 ó 3 con una base o un material de anión de fluoruro, y aplicar el 1-metilciclopropeno a las plantas.
