Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un procedimiento para purificar gas de síntesis por medio de una unidad de adsorción de presión oscilante el cual es desorbido por vacio producido por lo que se denomina un expulsor, el cual es impulsado por vapor generado por un intercambiador de calor el cual utiliza el calor en el conducto de gas de escape o en el conducto de gas útil para la generación de vapor, la unidad de adsorción de presión oscilante es operada ventajosamente en turnos cíclicos de adsorción bajo presión excesiva, de desorción por despresurización y desorción al vacío y el gas desorbido por el expulsor se enfría en un enfriador de manera que el vapor contenido se puede condensar y descargar o ventajosamente se regresa al gas de alimentación para la producción de gas de síntesis y el gas extraño desorbido por la unidad de adsorción de presión oscilante, la cual contiene por lo menos parcialmente gas combustible aún no consumido, se recicla al gas combustible; en una modalidad ventajosa, el vacío desde el expulsor se almacena en un tanque intermedio y se aplica a una unidad de adsorción de presión oscilante de acuerdo con el ciclo de desorción de vacío; la invención también se relaciona con un dispositivo para realizar este procedimiento.
