Un termómetro electrónico (1) está equipado con una sonda (3) que tiene una parte (3a) de medición de temperatura en la punta, un sensor (6) de temperatura proporcionado en la parte (3a) de medición de temperatura de la sonda (3), un sensor (7) de contacto proporcionado frente al cuerpo (2) principal de termómetro desde la parte (3a) de medición de temperatura de la sonda (3), una parte de análisis que determina si la parte (3a) de medición de temperatura y la parte medida del usuario están en buen contacto entre sí con base en la salida del sensor (6) de temperatura y un sensor (7) de contacto y una parte indicadora que emite un informe que corresponde al resultado del análisis de la parte de análisis.
