Abstract
Protective cover for beverage cans, for guaranteeing suitably hygienic conditions for drinking directly from the can, characterized in that it comprises a body (1), made of a suitably impermeable and sufficiently strong material, preferably transparent, with a cylindrical configuration open at the bottom (1a) and closed at the upper end wall (1b) thereof, and being slightly larger than the can (2), so that it covers the can at the top, at the end wall where the relevant ring pull (6) is positioned, and surrounds at least the upper half of the can laterally with a tight fit; in which said body (1) has at least one tear means, such as a partially pre-perforated strip (3) or any other similar known system, optionally with at least one tab (4) at the bottom for catching hold of it.
Description
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
In view of the aforementioned figures, and in accordance with the numbering adopted, an example of a preferred embodiment of the invention can be observed, which comprises the parts and elements that are indicated and described in detail below.
As seen in said figures, the cover in question consists basically of a body (1), made of a sufficiently waterproof and sufficiently resistant material, preferably thin plastic, cellophane or similar, preferably transparent, which adopts a configuration similar to that of the can (2), that is, a cylindrical configuration opened by its lower part (1a) and closed by its upper base (1 b) and with dimensions scarcely greater than those of the can (2), so that it covers it superiorly and laterally wraps it tightly at least its upper half, being able, optionally, to cover it in its entirety.
Said body (1) has at least one tearing means, such as a partially pre-scored strip (3) or any other known similar system, optionally having at its end at least one flange (4) that facilitates its grip, guaranteeing itself with it the hygiene of the upper surface of the can (2) in which there is the corresponding opening ring (6), to be able to drink directly from it.
Additionally, the lower part of the body (1) conformant of the cover, and in order to provide a greater and better hygienic protection of the can (2), can incorporate, on its internal face, a strip (5) adhesive or equipped with some other type of similar fixing, which keeps attached said lower part of the body (1) to the lateral surface of the can (2) sealing the space between both elements (sheath and can) at the entrance of any type of foreign element.
Finally, it should be noted, as seen in figures 2 and 3, that the sleeve constituted by the body (1) can, optionally, completely cover the can (2), in which case, logically, said body (1) does not will be open at the bottom and not
: 1 I
it will be necessary to fix it by means of the adhesive strip (5) (figure 2), or cover only its upper part (figure 3).
Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any expert in the field understands its scope and the advantages of it. derive, stating that, within its essentiality, it may be carried out in other forms of realization that differ in detail from that indicated by way of example, and to the. Which will also achieve the protection that is sought provided that it is not altered, changes or modifies its fundamental principle, i 1

Claims (4)
1. - PROTECTIVE COVER FOR DRINKING CANS, applicable as a protective element, especially of a hygienic nature, for beverage cans, in order to guarantee the adequate hygiene conditions that the surface of the can present in order to drink directly from it, characterized by the made to consist of a body (1), made with a material; suitably waterproof and sufficiently resistant, preferably thin plastic, cellophane or the like, preferably transparent, which adopts a cylindrical configuration open at its lower part (1a) and closed by its upper base (1b) and with dimensions scarcely greater than those of the can (2), so that it covers it superiorly, in the base which is the corresponding opening ring (6), and wraps it laterally so as to fit at least its upper half; wherein said body (1) has at least one tearing means, such as a partially pre-scored strip (3) or any other known similar system, optionally having at its end at least one flange (4) that facilitates its grip .
2 - . 2 - PROTECTIVE COVER FOR DRINKING CANS, according to claim 1, characterized in that, additionally, the lower part of the body (1) conformant of the sheath, and in order to provide greater and better hygienic protection of the can (2), incorporates, by its internal face, a strip (5) adhesive or other similar type of fixation, which keeps attached said lower body part (1) to the side surface of the can (2) sealing the space between both elements (sheath and tin).
3. - PROTECTIVE COVER FOR DRINKING CANS, according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that, optionally, the body (1) completely covers the can (2), not being, in such case, open at its lower part and not requiring its fixing by means of the adhesive strip (5).
4. - PROTECTIVE COVER FOR DRINKING CANS, according to claim 1, characterized in that, optionally, the body (1) covers only the upper part of the can (2).
